American artist Kathy DeZarn Beynette, inspired by her lifelong love for creatures great and small, painted the adorable animals in this sticker book. In her original painting called Animal Crackers, each of these critters is just about as tiny as a postage stamp, even the elephant!
In her work, Kathy paints her reactions to the world around her. She paints her cats, Edith and Willie, when one of them inspires her. If she happens upon an interesting animal in need of a lifestyle upgrade, she has been known to imagine an all-new life for it and paint that. Sometimes the characters in her paintings take on entirely new lives of their own, but no matter what they do, they're always kind and playful.
