Description

Tom Thomson (Canadian, 1877–1917) Byng Inlet, Georgian Bay, 1914–1915 Tom Thomson, an avid outdoorsman and backcountry guide, had a brief but brilliant art career profoundly influenced by the Canadian landscape. Thomson loved exploring Ontario's north country, recording his impressions of the wilderness in small oil sketches full of vivid color and bold brushwork. Thomson would not live to see the birth of the Group of Seven. Yet, despite his untimely death in 1917, his name became synonymous with the Group, and together their works have come to symbolize a distinctly Canadian identity. Thoughtfully conceived and engagingly intricate, our 500-piece jigsaw puzzles combine superb color reproduction, stunning and unusual images, and sturdy construction to delight generations of novice and veteran puzzleworkers. WARNING: Choking hazard—small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years. - INDIVIDUAL ITEM RRP £11.99
